About us

The Kockelscheuer ice rink was opened in the 1970s. A second hall used for club training was built in 2007. The facility offers 4000 square meters of ice and besides public skating sessions host several clubs.

From 2024 the training hall will be open 12 months per year allowing the clubs to train without interruption.

International hockey matches and figure skating events are hosted in the main hall. Local matches and competitions take place in the training hall. Both halls have grandstands allowing spectators to have a great view.

Location / Access

The Kockelscheuer Ice Rink can be found south east of the city of Luxembourg. It is located next Park&Ride (P&R) Kockelscheuer. The parking has 550 places available and is free for 24 hours.

Bus

You can easily visit the ice rink by public transport. Line 18 of the City of Luxembourg (AVL) goes back and forth from Kirchberg via the city center, passes through the central station to the Park and Ride (P&R) at the Kockelscheuer Ice Rink.
