When is the ice skating season?

The public skating season starts on September 15 and ends on April 15.

The rink is closed on these dates:
November 1st
December 25th
January 1st
March 14-15 (international figure skating competition)

One December 24th and 31st we close at 18:00.

Public skating remains possible during hockey matches.

What are the public skating hours?

The public skating hours are the following:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 12h00-21h00
Wednesday: 12h00-19h45
Thursday : 12h00-21h00
Friday: 12h00-22h30
Saturday: 10h00-22h30
Sunday: 10h00-21h00

Please note that the public skating hours can be different during Luxembourgish school holidays!

How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased on-site at the ticketing machines. Upon entering the building, you will find four machines that accept card payments. Additionally, at the entrance, there are two more machines: one that accepts cards and another that accepts both cards and cash.

Please note that online ticket purchasing is not available at the moment.

Do I need to make a reservation to skate?

Accepted Answer

No, you can come and skate during our public hours without a reservation. For special services like our skating school or birthday parties, however, you do need to reserve in advance. We look forward to welcoming you on the ice!

If you're coming with a larger group, please let us know in advance by phone or e-mail. This will help make your arrival and skate rental process smoother.

How long can I skate or stay?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are valid for an entire day during opening hours. This allows you to enter and exit the rink as many times as you wish throughout the day.

However, please be aware that from time to time, the ice needs to be resurfaced. During these resurfacing sessions, which typically take around 15 minutes, all skaters will have to leave the ice.

Can I watch my friends and family skate if I'm not skating myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you are welcome to  watch your friends and family skate even if you are not skating yourself! There are viewing areas where you can comfortably observe the action on the ice.

However, please be aware that the hall can be quite cold. It is strongly recommended that you dress warmly with appropriate clothing to ensure your comfort while watching.

Are there any age restrictions for skating ?

Accepted Answer

Skaters of all ages are welcome. However, for safety reasons, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This ensures that younger skaters have the supervision they need to skate safely.

The minimum age to take part in our skating lessons is 4 years.

No, during hockey matches public skating will continue in our second hall.
